Hi,
I need an option (I checkbox on the settings screen will do it) to only show the start date/time of an event that has multiple datetimes (10) in it.
Because we have to many events going on and registration is only possible before the event starts (before the first datetime), the general public should only see the first event date in the calender and in the event lists. BUT: this should be just an additional view, because I also need to show the whole datetimes (10) of an event for i.e. a registered user/participant in his “My Events” page.
There are already a lot of people who requested this and I hope you can make this special view of only the start date in a calendar and an event list.
Here are some other people who also requested this feature:

https://eventespresso.com/topic/request-show-start-date-only-in-calendar/

thanks!

Hi there,

While there isn’t a checkbox option for the settings screen for this, you can add a short code snippet to accomplish this change on your site.

Here’s the code snippet:

https://github.com/eventespresso/ee-code-snippet-library/blob/master/addons/eea-calendar/jf_ee_calendar_display_first_datetime_only.php

You can add the above to a functions plugin, and after activating the plugin the calendar will change to show only the first datetime of each event.
