Hey,
I am using EE Calendar Addon and having some problems with the shortcode ([ESPRESSO_CALENDAR]) not working. I placed the shortcode into the page and it loads the calendar just fine. However when I then connect this page to the front page of my theme it breaks the shortcode.
This is a feature of Elegant Themes Nimble theme and they suggest I ask here about a solution as it seems to be linked to the calendar addon.

Any suggestions as to what maybe wrong?

I cant figure out how to edit my post… the top image with the grey background is the front page with a static placeholder image inserted to show what the calendar would look like.

Hi there,
I’m not at all familiar with how the Elegant Theme’s Nimble theme pulls content from other pages onto the home page. Will it work to use the Espresso Calendar Widget there on the home page instead?

The widget suggestion did work yes. However the client has now decided not to display the calendar on the front page anyway. So this problems solved itself.
