Hi, I want to display a calendar with events using this category shortcode [ESPRESSO_EVENTS category_slug=qa]. I’ve tried using [ESPRESSO_EVENTS category_slug=your_event_category_slug] as [ESPRESSO_EVENTS category_slug=qa], and also [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR |

Hi there, Can you double-check you are using the correct category slug? The above shortcode looks correct as long as the slug is correct. You can find an example shortcode for each event category within Event Espresso -> Events -> Categories. Are does the above match what is shown there for your ‘qa’ category? |

Hi Tony, ok, so maybe I had to wait, when I view I can actually see this category usig the shortcode, so yes it does work, however there is a section above the calendar : Click to select a category: which lists all the other categories I do not want to show. Can this be deactivated? |

Can you link me to the page so I can view this please? The ‘waiting’ sounds like caching, that’s not from Event Espresso. The select a category is not something you would see with the above shortcode, so I need to take a look at the page. |

I’ve now added threee versions of the shoretcode to the page to visualize what is happening. My impression is that the top left one is the most correct, the question is why the other events can be chose. |

Great, that fixed it!! Thanks. 🙂 |

Is it possible to show multiple but not all events? How does the short code work if the answer is yes? Eg it is currently [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR event_category_id=qa] what if the other slug is xyz ? |

You can separate multiple category slugs using a comma, so:
