Event calendar doesn’t display multi-day events. It only shows a bar for the days. Only one day is shown. https://www.worldlegacy.com/worldlegacy-schedule/

Hello

Can We look on the multi-day event you created? Can you send a screenshot of its setting?

This is how you create a multi-day event using Advance Editor

For Legacy Editor, This is how you will do the setup.

Thanks.

I know how to out in multi-day. The calendar just shows one day and then has a horizontal line – The screen shots are all multi day events.
I dont see how to upload a screen shot. So, if you go to https://www.worldlegacy.com/worldlegacy-schedule/ and go to October 2023, all the events are multi-day. It puts a horizontal line on the first day and only shows the weekend.

Hello,

I did look on it, and it seems there’s problem with the styling if the event come across weekends and weekdays or Vice Versa.

I did report this to our developer and We will get back to you.

Thanks

I talked to our team and Here’s the solution. We needed you to install a plugin.

Here’s how you do it.
1. Go to this page and download the Zip Code.
https://github.com/Pebblo/ee-calendar-migrate

2. Install it to your WP site, that zip code is a plugin.
3. Once it is installed and activated, you can now check if your calendar works the way you expect it.

Thanks

Here is the problem- if this is a plugin to switch to the legacy version of jQuery when loading the EE calendar. We need the most updated version or our site will not pass PCI compliance. This has been a problem for years,. There must be a better solution. One reason we got event espresso was the calendar. Please help.

Hi there,

Currently, we don’t have another solution for this.

The issue lies within the library we use for the calendar and to switch to another would basically need a complete rewrite of the calendar. We do this on our agenda but have other features with higher numbers of requests at this time and as we are small team we have to prioritize our developments carefully.

The issue you are referring to happens when an event spans across more than 1 week within the calendar so for some it can help to switch the starting day of the calendar but I don’t think that will work for your setup.

Another option would be to switch the calendar so that it displays the event on the start date only, would that help?
