Hey there.
I’ve included the Event Calendar Add-On to my page. Now the problem is, that the translation is kind of mixed up. (See image below – for example it says Sonntag(german), NOV 1ST (english) ). Also the hours are in am/pm. I Couldn’t find how to translate that via the .po / .mo files. Is there a way to get that translated?

Hi there Olaf,

Could you adjust the time settings like this?

Also, could you confirm that you are using the latest version of our translation file from GlotPress?

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-translate-event-espresso/

Then could you browse to the next tab and then update the labels there and save changes?

Hey Lorenzeo,

thx for your replay. I could fix the most parts (found the advanced calendar settings 🙂 ), but I’m still struggling with the day view. Changing the time format in the calendar basic settings (also in the general WP settings) has no effect to the time format. It still says “all-day, 6am, 7am…”. I tried translated some other missing things via poedit in the translation file, but i couldn’t find anything for “all-day” also.

Hi there Olaf,

I was able to see this issue on the week view and the day view. Sorry about that.

I’ve created a ticket for our development team to review so we can get this fixed. We’ll be sure to update this support post when we have more information.

Hi Lorenzo,

another question regarding the calendar translation. I am using the WordPress de_DE_formal.po / .mo files. If I use the default de_DE files, it is also working for the calendar, but it is not for the formal. Is there a way to get this working too?

Hi Olaf,

Could you share some examples of the areas that no longer translate when this specific file is in use?

Hi Lorenzo,

please see screenshot attached. It also appears, that I cant translate the ticket status (“sold out”).

Hi again,

I solved the calendar translation issue, my bad.

Now its just the ticket status issue. It is the status in the ticket selector, not the span within the title.

Hi Olaf,

I believe that is already translated on GlotPress:

Are you using the current MO file from GlotPress or are you working on the translations locally?
