Hi there, we have created a new use / capability for a few people to use this app. When they try and log in, the first window says my website doesnt have SSL security. I can categorically say that it does. (Checked cPanel) Clicking continue on the app warning Window then just loops back to the login for them. |

Hi there, Your site loads over HTTP, it does NOT redirect requests to HTTPS automatically. Your site returns a valid response for the HTTP request so the app isn’t redirected to HTTPS and therefore throws the above error/notice to show the current request is insecure. You DO have a valid SSL cert… but then you load both HTTP and HTTPS versions of the site? — The capabilities you have on that account are not going to be enough to view most of the app. What do you want them to view in the app? |

Firstly, thanks for the quick reply. I need that user to be able to view the events, scan their QR code or check them in manually. |

I think I can answer my own question. When I look up the instructions for this, the minimum user capabilities are listed near the bottom of this page https://eventespresso.com/wiki/ee4-event-apps/. Of those my IT people seem to have used on 3 of them. no idea why, |
|
Sorry, I’m not sure what this means. Do you now have it working as expected? |
|
On that page it lists 12 capabilities that are required, possibly 16? |
|
Yes, those capabilities listed are the minimum capabilities you’ll need. Whoever set up that EventApp role will need to add those additional capabilities to it for it to work how you are intending. |

Ok. Thank you |
