I have installed the WordPress Members plugin and granted all capabilities for “Events” to the user type of ‘Event Administrator’. What specific additional capabilities need to be granted for the user role ‘Event Administrator’ to edit:

Event Espresso >>> Add-ons
Event Espresso >>> Settings >>> General Settings
Event Espresso >>> Extras >>> Maintenance
Event Espresso >>> Extras >>> About

Hi Matt,

All of those sections are intended for the Administrator of the site so they are linked with the manage_options capability.

Granted that capability, tested, but still not able to access those aspects of EE 4. Please advise and thank you in advance.

Can you make sure the role has the ee_read_ee capability?

Thank you, only one area still remains inaccessible:

Event Espresso >>> Add-ons

Hey Matt,

I don’t think we have a capability assigned to the “Extensions & Services” (add-ons) page. This is basically an HTML admin for promoting our additional products and services. I can request that we add a capability to this page, but I’m not sure it will be added anytime soon as it’s a fairly low priority item at the moment.

Please let us know if you have further questions.
