It has been quite awhile since a question has been asked about using Evalon’s Converge platform. I found this thread – https://eventespresso.com/topic/elavon-converge-payment-gateway-options/ but didn’t see if any other developments have been made directly for this option. I also looked at https://eventespresso.com/third-party-addons/ for a possible add-on but none of these look to fit the part.
The question: Is there a way to use Converge instead of a platform like Authorize.net?

Hi there,
No, at least, not as far as I’m aware.
To directly integrate with a payment merchant (in this case Converge) a custom payment method would be needed for Event Espresso so that it structures the request however Converge is expecting it and then receives the response and updates the EE Transaction as required.
We currently do not have plans on creating a payment method for the above, it has had so few requests for EE4 and we have many other highly requested features which will take priority for our developers. A custom payment method could be created by someone familiar with the above integration and we have some developer documentation on doing so here:

(We don’t have an affiliation with the above but a few users have used their integrations)
We believe in being as honest and open about our development plans as we can be so if the above comes across as dismissing your question it isn’t intended as such. I simply prefer to give you the info I would like to have when asking if an integration exists.
