Hi,
I am running EE4, and would like to support hotel booking as part of the registration process. But it is my understanding that I need the multiple registration form add-on in order to support an optional registration item that comes with an increased cost.
Is there an estimated timeline for when it will be ready? Or perhaps a short-term solution to support optional hotel registration.

Hi Delray,
It turns out that you do not need the multiple event registration add-on to add optional items that add cost. In Event Espresso 4 you can add multiple ticket types to a single event by clicking “Create Ticket” under “Event Datetimes and Tickets” in the event editor.

Josh,
I tried that, but the problem I ran into is that I need to allow registrants to select how many nights in the hotel. So, when I added an additional ticket type for the hotel to the single event, what happened was when they selected quantity (nights) it understood it as an additional registrant and the corresponding questions appeared in the reg form.
Can I make it so additional registrant questions do not apply to a specific ticket?

Hi Delray,
You can make it so additional registrant questions do not apply to a specific event. Tickets within events will be set by what’s set for the event.
