Hi All, The payment setting page for Event Espresso does not load when upgrading to the new Event espresso 5.07. I have First Data Payeezy Gateway
EE Version 5.0.7.p
FD Payeezy Gateway Version 1.0.0.p
Wordpress 6.2.2

Which page are you trying to load specifically? Event Espresso > Payment Methods?
What happens when it does not load?
Do you have an error message in your logs?

It shows me the Frist Data Payeez gateway Description page with the following information:
First Data Payeezy Gateway
This is a brief description for the options that are required to setup the Payeezy Gateway. More information can be found in the First Data Payeezy Gateway API Library.
Gateway ID (Exact ID)
Also known as the Gateway ID, this value identifies the Merchant and Terminal under which the transaction is to be processed.
The Gateway ID can be found on the Administration tab under Terminals and then Details.
Password
Authenticates the Payeezy Gateway Web Service API request, this value should not be exposed to the public.
The Password can be set/generated on the Terminal Details page, Administration section.
HMAC Key
SHA-1 HMAC hash calculation is offered to increase the security of transaction processing through this interface.

Hi Shon,
May I ask which PHP version you are using on the server?
If you don’t know go to Event Espresso -> Maintenance -> System Information
Search for ‘php version’, what does it show?
Do you have FTP access and are you comfortable using it?

The issue is likely from the update to PHP8 and we’ll need to push an update for the Payeeze add-on to fix it.
If you are comfortable with FTP I can let you know what you need to change if preferred, or hold out for the update to be released (the code change will be review and tested before pushed live).

The issue is the missing s for string placeholder, PHP7 handled that fine, PHP8 throws a fatal.
