My site is a LearnDash integration with BadgeOS and Event Espresso as feature add-ons. What I would like to do is show the events related to a particular course within a LearnDash lesson page. However, adding [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] to the page has no effect, it does not appear. I found this behavior to be the same when trying to add to Achievement pages in BadgeOS as well. The shortcode only seems to work in simple WordPress pages. Any suggestions of how I can go about troubleshooting this so I can see where/why the shortcode does not work on those types of pages? Because this is your shortcode, I’m afraid the other support groups wouldn’t have a clue.
Also note ideally, the learndash integration would work and I could create a shortcode of [ESPRESSO_EVENTS course=”1234″] or whatever to list all the events tied to that particular course within a Learndash lesson. As the functionality currently stands, I have to create a category for those events, and then list by category (if I could get it to display, that is, which for now I cannot).

You can see from this link below that someone has posted to LearnDash forum on this and they requested they reach out to you. Any chance you guys can put your heads together on this instead of sending everyone running back and forth? This plug in is the entire reason I chose Event Espresso to purchase over any of the other event management plugins.

Hi Peter,
I don’t have a Learndash account, so I can’t view the thread that you linked to.
What they may need to do with their integration is add support for the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode within their post types. If the Learndash team needs something within Event Espresso core to be changed to make this happen, we encourage them to submit a git pull request.
