Hello,

I have copied the espresso_default.css to the wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/templates/css folder and modified line 215 from:

.ee-upcoming-events-widget-title-h5 {
margin: em3 0 0;
}

to

.ee-upcoming-events-widget-title-h5 {
margin: 0 0 0;
}

to fix a spacing issue. However when I update event espresso it does not look at the file in the wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/templates/css folder, but still is pulling from wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/templates/global_assets. I am using event espresso 4. How can I have event espresso pull from the uploads file to insure that I do not lose my change every time I upgrade event espresso?

Thank you.

Hi John, try adding important to the new style:

.ee-upcoming-events-widget-title-h5 {
margin: 0 0 0 !important;
}

If this is the only styling change, then you could also add this to your child theme’s stylesheet.
