Hi there, we are having issues on the registration page where the page is displaying the short code live to the public http://www.centresupport.com.au/register-events/#checkout
the shortcode seems correct.
WordPress 4.7.5 running (about to upgrade)
version: Event Espresso 4.8.9.p
our account is on EE3 Business License – could this be causing issues?
thanks for your help

Hi there,

The [ESPRESSO_CHECKOUT] will only work on a single page at a time, and that page must be set within:

Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Critical pages -> Registration Checkout Page

Right now it looks like you have 2 pages called ‘Register Event’ and have the wrong one selected in the above setting.

You’ll find this page works:

http://www.centresupport.com.au/register-event-2/

(Note the 2 in the permalink means there is another page with the ‘register-event’ slug)

This page will not:

http://www.centresupport.com.au/register-events/

So to fix, select the ‘Register events’ page in the above setting. If you are unsure which page that is of the above too, edit the above (non working) page and add something to the title ‘Register Events – Test’ for example, then select that within the critical pages setting and rename the page back to the original name.

version: Event Espresso 4.8.9.p

That version is rather dated now, I’d recommend updating to the latest version.

our account is on EE3 Business License – could this be causing issues?

The license key has no effect on EE’s behaviour so this will not be the cause.
