WP Version: 4.0
Event Espresso: EE4 w/ events calendar addon
New Installation
dev.balletwest.org

Any time through the registration or checkout process that an ajax pop-up appears, there is no content inside…just an empty colored box.

Hi,

Is this happening with a specific web browser?

I see the following in Chrome on a Mac:

Using Chrome on PC. Some of the notices work some do not. I also get the one you sent in that image Lorenzo. If you select # of tickets and proceed, then omit required fields, you will see an empty alert that shows when validating.

Hi,

I was able to see the issue. Could you update to the latest version of Event Espresso and re-test?

I think I discovered another content column shortcodes plugin that is causing the problem. When I deactivate that plugin, the ajax notices seem to function properly. I will reach out to the devs of the troublesome plugin or maybe try an alternative. But, I dont think its a problem with EE4. Thanks for your help Lorenzo!

NOTE: The conflicting plugin is “WEN’s Responsive Column Layout Shortcodes” it has a custom.js file with some jQuery that strips empty <p> tags and that is why the pop-ups were empty. I configured my own workaround, but EE staff may want to add this to the list of known plugin conflicts.
