Errors when submitting form on iPhone

A customer attempting to register for an event, is getting the following error:

Last Name: HTML tags are not permitted in this field.
EED_Single_page_Checkout –
_check_form_submission – 914

There are not html tags in the last name field.

I’m not sure this is limited to the iphone.

Hi there,

You can update to the current version of Event Espresso to fix this. In 4.7.7 there was a fix added to the form input to allow white space at beginning and/or ends of registration form text fields to prevent the validation errors you’re seeing.
