Hi all, I’m getting the following errors on most of my plugin pages and I also can’t run the updates for EE4. I have the Counties Pack (version 1.0) and WP Users (version 1.1.3.p) installed too.

Currnt EE4 version is 4.6.28.p

I’ve got a larger problem with s2member and EE4 and want to make sure all other errors are cleared up before I tackle that one!

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$slug in /wp-admin/update-core.php on line 237

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$new_version in /wp-admin/update-core.php on line 245

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$slug in /wp-admin/update-core.php on line 267

Thanks!!

Zoe

Hi Zoe,

Those notices are being thrown within WP core so we can’t tell if that is being thrown by Event Espresso, they can be trigged by any of the plugins you have active.

/wp-admin/update-core.php is a core WP file.

We did notice EE4 would sometimes cause a similar notice to be thrown but that was fixed within 4.6.28.p – https://eventespresso.com/wiki/ee4-changelog/#4.6.28

That being said notices are thrown to advise but shouldn’t be causing you problems. What issues are you running into?

**Also, I have removed the server paths from the errors you posted above, as the forum is public it is best to remove those before publishing your post

Hi Tony, I am assuming its EE4 because when I delete all our mu-plugs and deactivate everything bar EE4 they are still there. I’d like them removed as our client has access to the admin and it doesnt look good if we leave errors everywhere – also I’d like to ensure everything else is a-ok before taclking my next issue (below).

Thanks for removing the paths, I realised I hadnt done it when posting but couldn’t see anywhere to edit my post.

My other (possibly unrelated) issue it regarding EE4 & S2member. When both are active you get the error “This registration step could not be complete. Please refresh the page and try again” message when trying to login on the registration page.

Cheers!

Zoe

Can you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings.

Make no changes but simply hit save.

Now check the plugins page and see if the notices from before have been removed.

My other (possibly unrelated) issue it regarding EE4 & S2member. When both are active you get the error “This registration step could not be complete. Please refresh the page and try again” message when trying to login on the registration page.

This is likely unrelated to the above notices.

Can you link me to one of your events so I can see this please?
