My website is showing errors when you try to add the event to your cart. This is the error I’m receiving. Is there any workaround or way to fix this? One customer was able to purchase the ticket without an issue but others haven’t been so lucky.
An error has occurred:
You have attempted to purchase 1 ticket but that would result in too many tickets in the Event Cart for this event.
The registration limit for this event is 1 ticket per transaction, therefore the total number of tickets you may purchase at any time can not exceed 1.
It looks like the maximum ticket limit there is 1, so if someone tries to add more than one ticket to the cart for that class, they’ll get that error. You can allow them to purchase more than 1 ticket for that class by setting the Maximum number of tickets allowed per order for this event option to a higher number. This option can be set within each event’s editor.
According to my client, the customer only tried to add one ticket to the cart and couldn’t do that. It may have been user error if they accidentally added it more than once, but thank you for taking a look.
One thing you can do to help make it clear what’s been added to the cart is you can add the minicart widget to a widget area. This way, if they’ve added the ticket to the cart, they’ll be able to see it’s been added to the cart and that may prevent them from trying to add to the cart again.
