“An error has occurred:
The url given for Event Espresso assets is invalid. The url provided was: “/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/assets/dist/”. This usually happens when another plugin or theme on a site is using the “plugins_url” filter or has an invalid url set for the “WP_PLUGIN_URL” constant”
Domain is correct within Espresso admin. Any help for resolution is greatly appreciated.
You’ll note that all CSS and JavaScript files for plugins, linked in the source, are relative URLs. Normally these are absolute URLs.
There are plugins that make this change, but it’s also possible to make this happen by adding a code snippet to a functions file, or also possible to make an edit to the site’s wp-config.php file.
In any case, whatever is set up on your site to make the change from absolute URL to relative URL needs to be removed to avoid the error.
I don’t believe so. Unless one of the features of Sucuri SSL Firewall includes a setting that changes all of the WordPress plugins’ assets to relative URLs. WordPress by default uses absolute URLs and things can break when changed to relative URLs.
