Error upon registration.. users are told to refresh and are then charged twice!

I will walk you through how site owner tested and got error.

This error the client has been compaining about since August /September…
This is what they sent me.. it happens to MANY of their users/clients!

Step 1.

Step 5
In this step, after I click submit payment, I get the error reading as shown below, I also notice in the promo code, it states my name “Mendel Schwartz”. Not saying this is connected, but I did NOT write my name Mendel Schwartz in that promo space.

Step 6
I did not click refresh yet, and I already am receiving emails from authorize that my payment went through.

Hi there,

It appears that your website is running on a Microsoft-IIS/8.5 server, which isn’t a recommended server to use Event Espresso on. You may find that by switching to a recommended server you’ll not only resolve this issue, but other issues where Event Espresso doesn’t work as expected will also be resolved.

This has been a problem before, but we don’t often hear back to find out if they switched servers and how things worked out.
