I just did a test upgrade of EE4 to 4.8.4p from 4.7.10p. The system is WordPress 4.2.4, PHP 5.6.11. I got a bunch of warnings following the database upgrade that look like the following list. I truncated the list since the warnings are all the same. Everything seems to be working ok, but I’m worried. Can I safely ignore these warnings?
Warnings occurred during your last migration (Core Data Migration to version 4.8.0):
Limit reached; removed first half of errors to save space
Error updating rows to new event subtotal %1$s from %2$s. Error was: %3%=$s
Error updating rows to new event subtotal %1$s from %2$s. Error was: %3%=$s
Error updating rows to new event subtotal %1$s from %2$s. Error was: %3%=$s
You mention this was a test upgrade, so was this on a development copy of the site?
Can you double check that the EE4 version number was 4.8.4.p please? We included a fix for one of the causes of this within 4.8.4.p so I’d like to confirm you are using that version.
This upgrade was done on a copy of the production system running on my workstation. I just confirmed that I upgraded to version 4.8.4.p. I have not upgraded production yet. I can take another copy and make another attempt on my workstation if there is something in particular I should look for to help troubleshoot.
