When saving the event in the bottom right corner there is a small popup which has a red X and says “error updating event”. I searched and found this:
Usually, when the above happens it is because the event page has exceeded the max number of inputs that your server will accept, within PHP there is a max_input_vars setting which controls this. By default, it is 1000 and you can easily hit that number of inputs depending on your datetimes, tickets and any additional settings added by other plugins/the theme.
However, our max_input_vars is set to 2000, and hasn’t been changed in a very long time, so it seems strange to get this error now.

I’d try logging out of your website and back into your website. I’ve seen where sometimes if I’ve been logged in for a while my session may get old and it needs to be refreshed. That’s just a hint.
Beyond that, things don’t stop working without something changing.
If you are using PHP 8.2.2, you may run into unknown issues because Event Espresso only supports PHP 8.0. also WordPress only has beta support for PHP 8.2.
Also, WordPress compatibility recommends MariaDB 10.4 or greater…
