Error – suddenly cannot connect to Authorize.net

We haven’t changed anything and Authorize said they haven’t either, but once you click submit after entering credit card information you get an error message Cannot connect to Authorize.net. Not sure where to turn to fix

Which auth.net payment method are you using?

Can you link me to an event I can test a registration on to view this?

Ok, so generally the error being thrown means that your server isn’t getting a response from Auth.net’s server.

I can’t connect to your site without using a VPN so there are access restrictions in place somewhere.

I can’t view the above admin link without login credentials, can you send temp login details over using this form:

https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

I’ll check the payment methods logs too with the above credentials and see if they show anything to highlight why this is happening.

in order to set you up as a user i need an email address and a phone number so it can send the authentication code – what would you like me to use? mine and then just sent you the code?

For the email address you can use support[at]eventespresso.com

For phone you would likely be best using yours and just send over the code.
