We’ve use the mobile app to scan attendees in without issue in the past.
Iv’e turned off all our security on our site but am getting the “error – resource not found” message upon logging in, using correct credentials including the EE app password for the user in issue.
If I attempt to connect to the testdrive site using the following credentials, I get the same error so it seems the issue may not be specific to our server / WordPress config.
It looks like all requests to your bookings site home page redirect to your ‘home’ domain.
So what’s happening there is the app is sending a request to confirm the address and credentials work, that request is then redirected to the home site and the app follows the redirect, which means any subsequent requests from the app are set to the home domain, which doesn’t have Event Espresso installed (and is a different site).
For the app to work you’ll need to either remove that redirect or allow the requests from the app to hit the site (your host should be able to help with, they may use the apps user-agent header to allow the requests for example).
