Error premature message on credit card payments

When I select “credit card” payment type and click “Proceed to Final Registration” button, I immediately get a missing required field error message before I’ve had a chance to enter any info or submit it???

Note: This issue is occuring in EE4.

Which payment method is the above using?

Hi there,

My apologies for the delay.

I’ve been looking into this and I don’t think this is an EE issue but something deeper within the site with jQuery.

What should be happening on the single page checkout process is when the attendee information step loads (the ‘registration form’) there is some JavaScript that hooks in and will load the payment options via an ajax request in the background. When you select a payment method that same JavaScript loads the payment method via an ajax request to show the payment form, but on your site, there are multiple JavaScript errors that prevent that from happening so then you click the button to pay, but that would actually be to submit the payment not to go to the payment step (meaning the error is actually correctly, there are no values to those fields at that point).

Any changes made on the site when this started showing up?
