Hi there,
I was moving my site to another server and domain. To get it all running I had to disable all plugins. Now as all is running fine again I tried to reactivate the espresso and calendar plugins. The main espresso plugin works fine, but when I activate the calendar plugin, my site is only showing the following message (even in the admin panel) and the only way to get it back, is to disable the calendar plugin in the mysql database.
An EE_Error exception was thrown! code: EE_Config - _verify_config_params - 454
"The "" class is not an instance of EE_Config_Base."

ABSOLUTE PATH /wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/EE_Config.core.php ( line no: 454 )
thx for your fast reply. I moved it to a dev server to test setting it to ssl. I searched/replaced manually within the sql file. If that is the reason it is all fine for me, since the move was just a test for the ssl on the live site.
In general, ssl should be no problem for EE, right?
Event Espresso can be used with a dedicated SSL certificate. Just be sure to secure your WP dashboard (wp-admin) AND also the registration checkout page:
