I’m getting the error: No configuration section has been provided while attempting to save “_Config”. EE_Config – _verify_config_params – 555 where I have the EE shortcode. This has happened since I updated EE4 to version 4.9.39. I read through the other support ticket about this, but on my site https://www.toscanastudioandgallery.comALL the pages are built with a page builder. Removing the EE shortcode allowed the page to show, but 90% of the site is built for selling art classes. Not using the page builder will cause major issues.
Hi Josh, Thank you for your quick reply. We chose the theme because it had the ability to show events on the home page. The client decided that that wasn’t colorful enough for her. She’s an artist, so EVERYTHING is about color and making art stand out. Rather than rebuild the site from scratch, we added the page builder so one box could be blue and another red and another teal and still be the same page. It’s the client’s busy season now, so we can’t make major changes. Those are planned for fall. Have rolled EE4 back to the version that worked. Have a great weekend. Cheers, Maureen
You can try the release candidate on a staging site (release candidate available on Github). The release candidate adds some insulation for the shortcodes to protect them from page builders.
