I’ve purchased new EE4 license. We’ve used the license on our staging site – stg.cbiaorg.com – to test the new features and migration. The plugin works fine there. It is registered to cbiaorg.com. Upon launch of new site at cbiaorg.com, we’re getting error on WP dashboard
“Your support license key is only valid for one domain at a time, and our licensing system has detected that you are using your license key on multiple domains. Please log in to your Event Espresso account to manage your Support License Keys, or if you have concerns, please Contact Us.”
As well as some possible functionality issues, as reported by site admin.
Can verify that the license should support both our staging and live version of same site?
Please let us know what we need to do remove incorrect error message from WP dashboard, and ensure we recover the functionality available when we tested on staging site.
Currently, the license key can only be used on a single site, stg.cbiaorg.com would be considered another site.
You can either use the key on stg.cbiaorg.com to pull the updates and then push those from staging to live, or if you host does not support pushing the updates directly from staging, use the key on the live site and update staging using another method (for example you could use github to update the staging site).

The license key has no effect on EE’s functionality other than the one click updates, are you running into other problems with EE on the live site?
You’ll need to remove the key from one of the sites and save the settings, I can then reset your license key and it will re-link to the single site left with the key (If I do it now you’ll get the same error as its in use on 2 sites)
