Talking to our web developer and development advisor in regards to this issue, they have pointed out that your Users Manual has some guidelines in relation to Custom Invoice. However the info provided is sinsufficient for our team to solve the problem, that is:

– the Invoice generated that displays as a PDF on a registered member’s Profile History, must record the total cost (what the person payed for the event plus tax 7%) not only the cost of the event. Now it only displays cost.

– the date in this invoice must be that on the day the person concluded the transaction and not the current day (it now displays the current date “today’s date”)

The manual mentions something about identifying the CSS where there modification can be made, but we were unable to do it. These Forum entries served us as guidelines::

Hi Ivis,

It turns out the modifications that you have specified require changing PHP, not CSS. I can advise making the modifications to event-espresso/gateways/invoice/template.php. Both the date and the total cost displayed on the invoice are generated from that file.

Hello again Josh. Could you be so kind to provide the code that needs to be placed? Our webmaster needs it to apply it to the PHP. I am no developer, so I quote as he says. Please bare with me. Thanks.

Hi there,

It turns out that you’ll need to hire a developer to make these customizations. We do not provide customization services at this time.
