I am getting An error has occurred: First Name is a required value.
I am running wordpress 4.4.4 but i get error when trying to update your plugin
I am using theme “Grace Church”

I just installed plugin “nextgen gallery” which seemed to cause the issue, as when i disabled it the error did not happen… how can i fix that the nextgen is active and eventespresso should work as well…

I am getting An error has occurred: First Name is a required value.
That error usually happens when a JS error is being thrown on the registration form, the JS validation then fails and the error is thrown.

Sounds like nextgen is throwing the JS error mentioned above. Can you re-activate nextgen on your site so we can view this please?

So it looks like a conflict between Nextgen and your active WordPress theme.

ok I have decided o disable it and use a different gallery plugin.. makes life easier!
