We are experiencing an error when trying to connect to Authorize.net at checkout for a new website that we are creating. The popup error is 1. I have tried in both test and live mode using the correct account id’s and transaction key’s from Authorize.net. The same error happens for both live and test mode. 2. I have confirmed that the server supports the correct requirements https://eventespresso.com/requirements/. 3. We do have a valid SSL certificate (using Cloudflare flexible SSL) Below are the log entries from Event Expresso: Any ideas what might be happening? |
|
Hi there, Go to Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> Logs. Each payment attempt will create multiple log entries, if you click on the ID’s on the left of the table you can open up each individual log entry. If you open the log table and note the highest log entry number, then attempt a payment in another tab, refresh the log table and view the new log entries created by that last payment, do you see any errors there? |

Here is what I see. I hope this is helpful. https://www.dropbox.com/s/gyykbw0p5s6x7co/%E2%80%B9_NPTI_%E2%80%94_WordPress.png?dl=0 |

Sorry I uploaded the wrong image. if you reload you should see the log as opposed to the payment details. |
|
That’s the EE transaction, which means your likely clicking the Txn ID on the right-hand side of the logs, you need the ID to the left to view the log entry Here – http://take.ms/uwn5O You can see all of those log entries in the box are for the same transaction, so they are from a single payment attempt. You’ll have something similar for AIM. |
|
Sorry about that. I uploaded the correct image now. https://www.dropbox.com/s/gyykbw0p5s6x7co/%E2%80%B9_NPTI_%E2%80%94_WordPress.png?dl=0 |

Ok, can I take a look at the logs in the admin to see if I can find anything? If so you can send temporary login details using this form: |
|
Thanks! I sent that over. |

Looks like there is an issue SSL on your site. If you install this plugin: https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/tls-1-2-compatibility-test/ Then go to Tools -> TLS 1.2 Test, what does it show? |

That’s the problem, Auth.net require TLS1.2 for all connections. Your host needs to update the server to support TLS1.2, I’d recommend creating a ticket with them and include the above screenshot so they can update the server. Once the server has been updated to always use TLS1.2 the auth.net connections should work fine, if not we can troubleshoot further from there. |

Thank you! That was the problem. I enabled TLS 1.2 and all works great. |
