Hi I\’m Using Espresso 3.1.25.L version. There was error in my Events. I have Noticed that System has created Attendees to last event of website. There was about 26 attendees data were registered without Attendee name only with ID. Then I got a Error message saying \”Event Espresso attendee data needs to be updated. Please visit the Support page to configure update the attendee information.\” But there wasn\’t any link in the support page to update Attendee data. I have uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled but problem occurred after one day. Please help

HI Garth Thank for the reply. I’m afraid I don’t get any “Run Attendee Update Script” in my page. Can you please tell me where can i down load this update script.

@lasantha
The attendee update script was removed recently. What you might want/need to do is go back to the older version of Event Espresso (which you can download here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/event-espresso-free/developers/) and run the attendee update script from there. Then upgrade to the newer version as normal. If the script isn’t in the Help/Support page in the Lite version, then we can figure out another solution to run the script manually.

Thanks lot for your reply Chris…
After the error I uninstall the plugin and re install it. So far no error message . If i get error again I will follow your instruction & will post a update.
By the way We are considering to go to the Pro version as we need to add more payment options to our site.My client little worry about this error as it may reoccur. What is causing this error? is it plugin compatibility issue or other problem?
please advise

It usually happens when you’re upgrading from an older version because of changes to the database tables. On activation, the script should run (which is why it worked for you) but in some cases it doesn’t. As long as it’s working now, and you aren’t upgrading from a really old version, it should not happen again (and if it does, we’ll be adding that script back to the help/support page to take care of it).

I was on the previous thread referenced and upgraded to EE 3.1.25.P and Permissions 1.5.1. When one of my event admins created an event this week with their non-admin account, it showed the public a registration with no fields. I was able to re-save it as admin and fix it but that puts all of the content work back in my lap. This is the same problem I was having before I had to disable the permissions module so has this problem been corrected?

@James
That’s a completely different issue. This thread was referring to the attendee data and update script in the Lite version of the plugin. Roles & Permissions is a totally different thing. We haven’t seen your issue in testing, so that would need to be addressed separately. Have you posted this issue elsewhere in the forums already?
