Hello, “Could not create the folder at “/var/www/vhosts/escueladecocinanaturalchef.com/cursos.escueladecocinanaturalchef.com/wp-content/uploads/espresso/” because: We have tried with several permissions and owners for that dirs, and the problem is still there. We’ve also restored a backup to come back to the point before the upgrade of the plugin and nothing. In the wp-config.php file we have also set “define (‘FS_METHOD’, ‘direct’);”. Please could you give me some ideas about what could be happening? Thanks in advance. |
Can you try turning off logging, and/or manually creating a folder in that location? |
The folder already exists. How can I turn off logging? |
If it is in “General Settings > Admin Options”, it is deactivated. We have both options set to NO. |
Okay if you browse to the /wp-content/uploads folder, are there other folders other than /espresso there? If so, can you find their permissions? |
First, thank for the help Josh 😉 Yes, there are other folders (backupWPup folders and multimedia folders). All of them have ftp user as owner and have 755 permissions. |
To give you more information: in WordPress back-end, after the error message, a form appears asking for the ftp credentials althought they are set properly in wp-config.php |
So if you input the FTP credentials does that allow it to run its checks for those folders? |
When I input the FTP credentials the form dissapears but the same error message appears again. |
Good morning, |
The problem is solved now. I’ve deleted all the tables of database completely and restored a previos backup and the problem is gone. Thank you very much for all anyway. |
