Hi there,

The EE4.9.25 update generates an error 500 for the 3 secondary languages of our website. The primary language still works fine. The EE update was done automatically via the update menu of the admin section.

Languages are managed by Qtranslate-X.

Everything went back to normal after I
– reverted to the previous EE version
– re-saved all Qtranslate-x settings
– re-saved permalinks settings (not sure which of the latter two did the trick though).

URL:
https://www.fim-musicians.org (English = primary language)
https://www.fim-musicians.org/fr (French = secondary language)
https://www.fim-musicians.org/de (German = secondary language)
https://www.fim-musicians.org/es (Spanish = secondary language)

I would be most grateful if you could suggest a solution. I might otherwise have to give up any future EE update.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Benoît

Sorry, the urls are wrong. These are the correct ones:

https://ioc.fim-musicians.org (English = primary language)
https://ioc.fim-musicians.org/fr (French = secondary language)
https://ioc.fim-musicians.org/de (German = secondary language)
https://ioc.fim-musicians.org/es (Spanish = secondary language)

Hi there,

I wonder if the 500 errors would have persisted if you left the EE version the same and simply re-saved permalinks settings. May I ask which version of Event Espresso you updated from?

You are quite right, I will try that on a staging version of the website and let you know.

I updated from EE4.9.24

You were right. Errors 500 disappeared with version 4.9.25 as well, using the same procedure.

Best regards,

Benoît
