Hi there,
Can you log into your WordPress dashboard then go to the WP > Settings > Permalinks? When you visit the page it will flush the site’s permalinks. If that does not help, you may need to remove any redirects set up for the /events/ route on your website.

Ok. So that Permalinks thing only fixes the issue temporarily. I am having to do it every day to keep my events from saying “error.” So can you explain a more permanent fix?

You’ll need to find what’s actually causing the permalinks to get reset. It may be another plugin so the first thing to check is has there been any new plugins added to the site just before this started happening?

Definitely no new plugins. I have not done anything with my site other than add new events in months. I do have a bunch of updates I need to run. Would that help?

It could possibly help if there’s a bug in one of the plugins that’s resetting the permalinks and the new version fixes that bug.

Ok. Well I just ran my updates so I guess I will wait a day or two and see if that fixes the problem.
