I’m interested in moving one of my EE sites to the Endfold them. Anyone using it? Anyone have and insights into known issues or bugs I should be aware of?

Hi Joseph,
We see a number of sites using Enfold & EE. It’s an OK theme but we do see issues from time to time because Enfold makes use of its own page builder, and more recently, it has templates that run additional queries beyond the main query. Usually these issues can get worked out by contacting support (which they do seem to have responsive support).
One thing you might consider is support for the new editor that’s coming in WordPress 5 (currently known as Gutenberg). The last I read about Enfold & the WP 5 editor were in these comments:

The above would only be an issue if you’re intending to use the page builder for Event Espresso events.

Thanks Josh! I understand we are at a major inflection point for WordPress with Gutenberg and most theme designers will have to retool LOTS.
The problem I’m having is my theme is old and I’d like to move asap to a theme that is commercial, light (fast loading), stable, modern design, secure, has long term updates, responsive. Theme vendors don’t seem to understand that all of those things matter or that they need to keep pace with WordPress core.
