We have recently updated EE4 plugin on one of our sites which uses WP theme Educon. Previously when a user registered two three tickets then event registration mails would go to all the users.
But after updating Registration emails are now sent to only Main user who is registering and not all other attendees also.

Hi there,

Can you link me to the event so I can view your set up, please?

On first emails are not being received at all and in second emails are delivering very late.

Ok, but that’s different from your opening post, so which site is this specific issue related to?

In your other thread, you mentioned you are testing the ‘Registration pending Payment’ email, are you also testing that email here?

The reason I ask is the ‘Registration Pending Payment’ email is sent to the Primary Registrant only as they are the users expected to be handling the payment for the group.

The ‘Registration Approved’ email should be sent to all users when the registration is updated to Approved (be that manually by the admin or by the user making a payment for the full amount).

*** In first site, i updated the registration status is set to Approved. Now according to your statement, it should send mails to both the users, but when i checked in Event Espresso -> Messages, it is sending mail only to Primary Registrant.

*** That is for second site.

And triggered the notifications?

Can you post a screenshot of the message acitivty table? You can mark you post private so only EE staff can view it.

Assuming you are using the default message templates on this event and no a custom template go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default message templates

Look for ‘Registration Approved’ in the list, is the ‘Edit Registrant’ link blue or grey?

Is the ‘Edit Primary Registrant’ link blue or grey?

See my response just before your response, it is private and has the required details.

*** We are using a Custom template, but we copied it from default template only and added a few extra lines.

You have this:

Next i approved the registration from backend and as expected Registration Confirmation mail should have received by both the users. But now it went only to second attendee.

‘the registration’ and not ‘the registrations’?

What are the exact steps you took to Approve the registration? If you only Approved a single registration you’ll only get a single email for that approved registration, you’ll need to Approve the group by selecting them all and Approving from Event Espresso -> Registrations using the bulk option to ‘Approve and Notify’.

I’d advise using a payment method like Stripe to test how this would work from your user perspective if you are using a payment method. The reason I mention Stripe is it takes minutes to create a test account that is able to test this in almost exactly the same way your users would pay.
