hi emails are not sending from event espresso Version 5.0.26.p . I get ‘An error has occurred: No message was sent because of problems with sending. Either all the messages you selected were not a sendable message, they were ALREADY sent on a different scheduled task, or there was an error. If there was an error, you can look at the messages in the message activity list table for any error messages.’ When i go in and change the global mail settings to ‘send on same request’ and then try and send an email a get a critical site error on my website ? Any help is much apreciated . Thanks Mark |

Hi there, When you get critical error the ‘full’ error would usually be saved to the server’s error logs. Can you post that here so I can take a look? (Your host will usually have a section for you to view PHP error logs within your control panel) |

Hi Mark, Yes, thank you. So the issue above is that your server is missing the mbstring module within PHP. Some hosts have a secting for you to enable this within your control panel, which host are you using? |

September 10, 2024 at 10:12 am I’ve removed the stack trace and server-related info from the post. I’m glad it’s now working, any further issues just let us know. |
