After the customer registers an email is sent to them. This is working correctly. Is there not a notification email sent to the sites email address as well to let me know someone registered for a course? If yes then this is not working. How can I fix this?

Your Messages may be set to send the notifications to the EVENT_AUTHOR_EMAIL

To confirm go to Event Espresso -> Messages. For the Registration Approved message click the Event Admin context – http://take.ms/f4ijl

What is currently within the ‘To’ field?

[EVENT_AUTHOR_FORMATTED_EMAIL]

That means the Event Admin emails should be sent the to Email address from within whichever users account created the event.

Is that not the case? or would you like to change this to the Primary contact email (set within Your Organisation settings)?

I want it set to a single account. The way we have it setup is the email would go to our finance for billing to ur course manager to track attendees and to me to make sure things are working. To do this we have an email distro list called classeats@gohtci.com. This the address stored on the settings page as well. This is the email we want it to go to.

In that case, for each of the Event Admin contexts that are active, change the ‘To’ field to either [CO_EMAIL] or [CO_FORMATTED_EMAIL].

You can see which message has the Event Admin context active from the main messages screen, if the Event Admin link is active that message is active.

You may also want to change the ‘From’ field for the Messages sent to the Attendee’s to [CO_FORMATTED_EMAIL] if they are not already. That way the messages sent to the Attendee’s will also come from your company email.

Cool seems to be working. What is the difference between formatted and not formatted.

Great 🙂

[CO_FORMATTED_EMAIL] outputs something like – ‘Tony Warwick {email@example.com}’

[CO_EMAIL] output just the email – ’email@example.com’

So the formatted emails show the name linked to the email, non formatted just output the email.

So if you want the email to come from your company name, use [CO_FORMATTED_EMAIL]
