Emailing the receipt

Hi,

I would like our website to email a copy of the receipt after a client has paid us. Currently, we have an HTML message that shows the invoice and receipt that pops up after a client has paid. Too many people ignore this and call to ask for a receipt later. How could this be done?

Hi there,

We currently do not support attaching the PDFs directly within the emails, however you can edit the message templates to include a link to the HTML version of the invoice and the user can then download the invoice from there.

Will that work for you?

For example you could add the link to the Registration Approved message template:

Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message Template -> Registration Approved -> Edit Registrant

Adding something like:

You can download a copy of your Invoice here: [INVOICE_URL]

To the main content will include a link to the Invoice.

Or use just [INVOICE_LINK] to generate a link that will look like:

Click here for Invoice
