How can I setup email confirmation before the attendee is signed up for the event?
Attendee get angry when they don’t receive event links. After a while we find out that the attendee has made a typo error while writing the email address.
You can create an additional email field and set it as required. This can be done through the Questions page in Event Espresso within the WordPress admin. Then you would add this to the personal question group and save changes.
Now when an attendee registers, they’ll need to enter their email address twice.
Note: the validation will not look for a match between the two emails. That will require custom coding. However, typing the email twice will help minimize any typos.
