Hello,

Is there an automatic way to email attendees of an event with a reminder? For example, if Joe Smith signs up for an event on January 16th, I would like to email a reminder to Joe on the 15th with a reminder.

If this is not possible, can I export my contacts into an excel spreadsheet or csv file?

Hi Brian,

You can export the registration info out by clicking the Registrations CSV report button that appears at the bottom of the Registrations list table. This can be done per event if you select an event from the Registrations table. Or you can export all the contacts for all the events by clicking the contact list tab at the top of the Registrations view. There’s a Contact List CSV Export button at the bottom of the Contact list page

As an aside, in Event Espresso 4 there’s a newsletter feature where you can send out mass email to select groups of registrants. It doesn’t automatically send it out to them at a pre-determined time though. The newsletter feature works by going into a registrations or transactions list view, bulk selecting a group of entries, and click Send Batch Message that appears below the list table.

I’ll follow up with each of your questions below, one by one:

It doesn’t have allow for attachements, but it does allow for linking to or displaying an html <img> tag. Please be aware that some email clients will not automatically display images.

It does not.

Also, where is the newsletter feature located at in EE4? I’m currently running EE4.

You can edit and make new newsletters by going to the Messages screen in the admin, then click edit or click the Create Custom button that’s next to the newsletter message type.

You send newsletters by going into a registrations, contact, or transactions list view, bulk selecting a group of entries, and click the Send Batch Message button that appears below the list table.
