Hi
I bought ee3 finally, however now I have problem with the email notification.
1. As admin I don’t get the confirmation email sent to me when someone register.
2. Even when I added another email in the cc field in the event creation page I still get nothing.
3. I noticed that if the email is stored in the espresso db, it doesn’t get any email from event espresso. (When I register twice with same email first time I got email second time I got nothing )
I tried wpmandril, Potmaker and poem mail plugin still the same issue

Hi Maram,

Can you link me to one of your events so I can run a couple of test registrations please?

Thank you for your response

First time it will send you an email but the admin won’t get anything and if registered again with the same email you won’t receive email neither.

Hi there Maram,

I saw your note about the transaction email services.

Did you first register an account for each service and then link the service to your WordPress site using a WP plugin?

For example, installing one of those plugins by itself will not help with email issues on the site.

Thanks

Lorenzo

Yes I register an account for each service.

Hi,

Could you install this plugin and let us know if anything is logged when after a registration?

Hi, that screenshot was helpful.

Could you check to see if anything is in the SPAM or junk folder?

Also, I would remove any other transactional email services (keep the email logging plugin) that may be on the site and switch back to Mandrill. One of the helpful features is that Mandrill also logs emails that are sent via the Mandrill account area.

I checked nothing in spam or junk folders.
I removed all transactional email services except Mandrill. still nothing. I removed mandrill and tried again. still nothing. I checked the reports on Mandrill dashboard the result was
9 Delivered

12 Sent
75.0% Deliverability
2 Avg Sends Daily
0 Spam Complaints
0 Unsubscribes
0 Hard Bounces
3 Soft Bounces

Hi Maram,

Can you go to Event Espresso > General Settings and look in the Organization Settings box? There you’ll find the Primary contact email field. Please make sure there is only one email address input there.

Hi Josh,
I checked. The primary contact email has only one email. However I updated just in case. still the same issue.

Do you have an email on another domain that you can test instead of yahoo?

For example, do you have a Gmail account that you can temporarily move into place?

Also, are regular WordPress notifications such as password resets received?

I did changed it to another gmail account. still the same issue.
Regarding the other WordPress notifications such as password resets received it is working well.

Thank you guys. It is working now I think it only works if you used an email from your own domain. for example my domain is saudimed.org it worked when I change all the primary emails to events@saudimed.org including the (admin email, wordpress->setting, & espresso->General Setting)
You can’t use another domain such as yahoo or gmail. This is my own conclusion I might be wrong

Thank you for your support.
