We’re running into a few issues with EE on https://dreams.flywheelsites.com and need some support: 1. Right now all admin email notifications from Event Espresso are going to JM WordPress Support (wordpress@jmonline.com) when we do our tests. Example emails: https://gyazo.com/572142e721d205b622af91abf6f00710 & https://gyazo.com/73168f6c976086ec3c6554b121681df8. We looked and can’t figure out why this is happening especially since in the WP Admin > Event Espresso – General Settings -> Primary Contact Email is set to angel@angelcarlmarketing.com but this is not where notifications are being sent. It’s only showing up as the “From” email. Can you help us figure out how to make the change so emails are sent to angel@angelcarlmarketing.com? 2. The Calendar and List View menu items (under Courses and Events) is REALLY difficult to select and click. When you scroll over them, they disappear (on Safari) and on mobile (Android Chrome) it takes multiple taps on the date (January 17th, for example) before the register now popup window appears. And when window appears it’s cut off some on the left. Let me know if you need screenshots or videos to illustrate what I’m describing otherwise if you can replicate. I had our developer look into this and he wrote “yes, I see what you are talking about. I saw a very strange solution from the developers. I have no idea how this can be fixed without making big changes in the plugin code. Moreover, the entire JS is minimized, it is impossible to read or to fix it. You should contact EE support and see what they recommend or perhaps they can fix the issue in the next plugin update.” Let me know, thanks! |

Hi there,
By default the event admin emails go to the event author email, meaning the email address of whatever user account is set as the author. We do this as it often covers 2 use most used use cases (either the site admin is the event author and the email is the same or the users want the event admin emails to go to the user who created the event). To fix this you’ll need to edit the message templates. Go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message Templates. Using the ‘Registration Approved’ message type as an example, click on ‘Edit Event Admin’ (I recommend opening it in a new tab). At the top you’ll see in the ‘To’ field is has Change that to That should change that specific message type to use that email address, you’ll need to repeat those steps for any message type that has the ‘Event Admin’ cotxt enabled (the ‘Edit Event Admin’ link will be blue rather than greyed out).
Has the calendar since been removed from the page? Unless I’m misunderstanding the issue I can’t view the problem currently. |

Tony, Thanks for the info on the email notifications. I’ve passed this along to the client and will let you know if we have any follow up questions or run into any issues. Regarding the Calendar and List View menu items issue, yes, you’re correct and I apologize for the confusion. I just checked and the Calendar page I was referencing is gone. I reached out to the client and they repled with “Yes, I removed “Calendar” and replaced with the “List View”. Same issue applies to the List View drop down.” I couldn’t see any visible issues with the List View page so I asked for more info and she replied with “It now seems to be working. Strange. Monday, when you scrolled over the drop down, the option to select Calendar or List vanished as soon as the mouse was over the word.” Let’s consider this post completed and resolved! Thank you. |

That’s odd and it is not something I’ve seen before. If it happens again please do let me know and I’ll try again. |
