Emails sent from Event Espresso are not getting through. Although they show as sent in Messages, when I send a test message to myself, it never arrives. Emails are not getting to us, not getting to customers. This just started happening for some reason. Every other website-generated email works (for instance, when I fill out a form on the website), and I have used a WP logging plugin to confirm that all of the EE emails are being sent.
If the emails are being sent but then not received then it means they are likely being flagged for spam/suspicious and being dropped by the web server (that happening can depend on the content of the email, say the HTML templates used in EE but not within your forms email).
I suspect that’s why we are seeing this come up more often, it’s starting to become more of a requirement that people aren’t aware of/don’t want the hassle of setting up.
