Hi guys,
I really like the Mailchimp add-on because every time I create an event, I am also able to have the customer be added to our customer only email list AND the Mail-Chimp for EE add-on allows us to choose the group we want them added to which matches the class category. Even better, we are able to select which questions and answers from the registration form we want added to that customers file/email address on MailChimp.
That being said, MailChimp doesn’t have all of the list segmentation features that we could get with Drip, Active Campaign or Constant Contact.
All that being said.
Can you please tell me which Email Service Providers will work with Event Espresso the same way that the MailCHimp addon works with Event Espresso.
We definitely still want to be able to capture thru API the customers email and registration form answers and have it sent to our email list.
Simpler way of asking.
Is there an add-on for event espresso that works exactly like the MailChimp for EE addon but instead, works with Drip, Constant Contact or Active Campaign?

Hi Jarred,
In short, no.
Each provider has their own API to integrate with, so the MailChimp add-on uses the MailChimp API. An add on for another provider would use their specific API meaning that each provided would need their own add on, which we don’t have.
A developer could use the MailChimp add-on as a base and integrate with another service swapping out the app calls but note it’s not a simple change to do this.
