Email Confirmation – Check Payments

We allow people to pay by check and credit card.

Regardless of method, they’re auto-approved for the meeting.

We are using the payment received message for credit card payment.

How can we use one of the other message types to just go to the people who indicate they’ll pay by check?

Hi there,

What you can do instead is use the Registration Approved message type for both transaction types.

It looks like it doesn’t support shortcodes that I’d like to include specific to their transaction … i.e. how much they paid, if they have an amount due, etc.

It does, for example:
[AMOUNT_PAID]
[LAST_AMOUNT_PAID]
[TOTAL_AMOUNT_PAID]
[TOTAL_OWING]
[PAYMENT_LINK_IF_NEEDED_*]

There are more shortcodes like the above available to use within the Reg. Approved template. You can view the full list by clicking on the Help tab on the upper right corner of the Messages editor, then you click on Message Shortcodes.
