Hi there! I just ran a test of our new form and I didn’t get an email confirmation. Please assist!! I really need to get this form up and running. My client’s event is coming up and they need to get the registrations going!
It looks like the color to the left, the vertical line, is with the “Failed” error.
For all 3 messages:
Registration Approved Registrant
Registration Approved Event Admin
Payment Received Primary Registrant
When I click to the right i, I see the error message:
Message was not executed successfully.
Messenger and Message Type were valid and active, but the messenger send method failed.
The email did not send successfully.
The WordPress wp_mail function is used for sending mails but does not give any useful information when an email fails to send.
It also says the “to” and “from” email address may not be valid. I used mine for both, which is NOT an email address affiliated with the domain.
Do you think that’s the problem? Do I need a from address affiliated with the domain??
Do I need to somehow authenticate smtp?? If so, how do I do that?
