When a client tried to register his team he couldn’t because his email address was too long. I tried to simulate the problem and when I put in a long email address I got this message: “An error occured. No Attendee was received.” I don’t know how the user new it was their email from this message but it works if I put in a shorter email address. It looks like it is limiting it to 45 characters. Is there a way to change this limit to 255?
It turns out that Event Espresso 3.1.37.4.p sets the email character limit to 255 characters. When you update to .37, it will update your database to allow the higher limit.
