Hey There, Just working on a project where we offer courses. Using EE4 and Network Merchants (NMI) with the Authorize.net AIM gateway (configured with appropriate URLS) Every time we try to register for a course and select invoice or try to process credit card payments we get this error An error has occurred: I’m banking my head against the wall – any ideas? Wordpress 4.0 with EE4 4.4.2.p |
Hi, Could you double-check the critical pages for Event Espresso through Event Espresso –> General Settings –> Critical Pages? You should see ok and a status of green for each. Next, please backup your site and update to Event Espresso 4.4.3: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/ee4-changelog/ — |

Hello Lorenzo, All pages are linked up and perfect (Green) this was one of the first tips I came across in the forum π I’ll push the new update now. Thanks, |
Alright, thanks for checking. After updating, please browse to WP-admin –> Settings –> Permalinks. Let us know if the issue remains afterwards. — |

I backed up and updated to 4.4.3, Permalinks for postname are enabled and shortcode pages are still good, still no go – Error 189 π I do notice it takes 10 or so seconds to process and the logs haven’t been telling me much… Thanks for your help, |
Hi, Could you let us know how Network Merchants is connected to the Authorizenet payment gateway in Event Espresso? — |

Hey Lorenzo, I’ve done as instructed in your email about completely deleting and removing EE and Calendar and downloading fresh copies. I even reverted to Twenty Fourteen theme to rule out any theme conflicts. Still at a loss for how to move forward with this issue. Let me know if you have any other tips π |

Hang Tight – I think I might have figured something out here. I disabled HTTPS and WordPress SEO by Yoast and I was able to process an invoice transaction. |
|
September 26, 2014 at 10:27 am Okay, I can confirm the WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin is the culprit – I’m now able to process Credit Card transactions without issue. I noticed a thread this morning that others have been having issues with this plugin as well. |
September 26, 2014 at 11:18 am Hi, I’m getting together some notes for testing with WP SEO. There are a handful of settings screens. Were you using the basic settings only? — |
|
|
September 26, 2014 at 11:27 am Hey Lorenzo, Yeah just the basic settings – we’ve optimized the website with it (4-5 pages) and use it on nearly every site we’ve built. This was the first time we’ve implemented Version 4 for a client. The version 3 sites have been running fine. Thanks, |
September 26, 2014 at 11:57 am Hello again, I installed WordPress SEO, Event Espresso 4.4.3 and the calendar add-on on a new site and I was able to process with PayPal and the Invoice payment gateway. Would it be possible for us to grab some screenshots of your WordPress SEO settings? If so, please share a temporary login through the form below: https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/ — |
