I was following this link to incorporate a new payment method in my event registration website. After adding the extra meta inputs in my Settings Form, I was supposed to see the new saved information (from the custom fields that I added) in the esp_extra_meta table. But I dont see such entry in that table. How can I know that the custom fields are getting stored in the database?
The inputs with a green square surrounding them are part of the EE_Payment_Method_Form, whereas the ones with an orange square surrounding them are from the “extra_meta_inputs”. When the form is saved, the EE_Payment_Method_Form takes care of saving each “extra_meta_input” in the esp_extra_meta table and associating it with the payment method.
You can check for errors when the form is submitted. These can be JavaScript errors (check in the browser console) and/or PHP errors (check your server’s PHP error logs and/or activate WP_DEBUG mode).
